GAZZA FERNANDO
Gazza Fernando  Cesena  1916 -2010  Self-taught, he attended the artists of "current" and painted on the common basis of these painters. Immediately after the war was the author of notable compositions inspired by the social. His works are in public and private collections in London, Cape Town, Milan, Rome, Ferrara, Modena, Bologna, Faenza, Forli, Rijeka. He has exhibited in Faenza,Bologna, Milan, Ferrara, Brescia, Cesena, Forlì, Cervia. They wrote of him: Henry Docci (Panorama), Mario Vigna (Progress); ElioJacchia (Small); Il Resto del Carlino, Unity, The Lamone; The Future; Literary Fair; Romagna; homeland.

I paint as well, because I feel so, for commitment to myself for some time, I do not think, in need of programmed movements. Workwell for a victory of freedom. I worked with the artists of "current" and I have painted several works of political faith. Even now, my characters often identify social restlessness. But sometimes I find myself recording simplicity of most spontaneous acts of nature, domestic objects in their frankness of composition, attitudes lacking any kind of celebrations. I stand in front of the consciousness of a true craftsman, used to believe that the important thing is to spend hours and hours of patient work.

With a perfect technique and a fine orchestration of objects, Magpie is able to surprise the viewer to be exact composition whichpresents his compositions. Which, while connecting to a naturalism, to a pigmatismo not modeled never the fringes of speech, ordeburring baroque, but the intrinsic substance that becomes material in the artist visual and tactile at the same time.

" A nice villa on the hills of Romagna, overlooking Rimini coast with clean pool. We were impressed by Stefanos attention, charm and helpfulnes. If you are visiting the hills of Romagna or Tuscany, do not miss "I quattro passeri"! The breakfast was very good with enough choice."
